Cloud Stairs
Climb · keep your time glowing

Overview
Step climbs one cloud in the direction you face. Turn changes direction only; then press Step. Match the arrow to the next gold cloud. Practise four safe steps, then start the timer. Each climb earns one point and restores time. A wrong step or empty timer ends the climb.
Controls
Space / ↑: Step · X / ← / →: Turn. Release between presses.
How to play
- Step climbs one cloud in the direction you face. Turn changes direction only; then press Step. Match the arrow to the next gold cloud. Practise four safe steps, then start the timer. Each climb earns one point and restores time. A wrong step or empty timer ends the climb.
- Practise four safe steps without points or a timer. Then choose Start climb. Each correct step earns 1 point and restores 0.85 seconds, up to a 5-second bank. Time drains from 1× speed to a maximum of 1.5× over the first 100 points. A wrong step or empty timer ends the round; there is no final level.
Scoring and rounds

Play tips
Practise the sequence: check direction, turn if needed, then step. If the next cloud is still in the same direction, just step. Release the key between presses to prepare your next action.
Common mistakes
Left and right arrows do not move left and right: both reverse your current facing. Turning alone does not climb a step. After the practice, press the climb-start button to begin scoring and the timer.
Taking a break
Use Pause or Esc to take a break, then select Resume. Switching tabs or windows also pauses a running game. Paused time does not count as play time.
Records and progress
Best scores, puzzle progress and settings are saved in this browser, without cross-device sync. Puzzle progress remembers which puzzle to start next; it does not restore unfinished boards or live rounds. Clearing site data removes records, and blocked storage may prevent new records from being kept.
